Multiverse mantra to mesmerize movie lovers?
Nowadays movie lovers are not bothering to even hear the name of the theatres unless the makers show some creativity. People are turning to OTTs to watch normal entertainers. In the midst of all this, it seems the makers are chanting the multiverse mantra to mesmerize movie lovers.

The multiverse is a longstanding sci-fi storytelling device that features parallel worlds. The character and the story of a hero in one film connect to another hero's character in the next film exciting movie lovers. Hollywood witnessed many such multiverse films and now Indian filmmakers are lapping on the same formula.

Directors like Prashant Neel, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Ayan Mukherji are planning to create such magic. Prashant Neel scored a blockbuster with KGF1 and KGF2 and now speculation is on whether KGF2 has a connection to Prabhas' Salaar or is Salaar part of KGF3. Prashant Neel's next with NTR is also having the dark theme concept and this is triggering rumors that Prashant Neel is coming with multiverse magic. KGF has a goldmine backdrop and Salaar has a coalmine backdrop. In KGF2, Easwari Rao's son Farmaan gets captured and killed. But with Farmaan's locket and Prabhas' locket in Salaar resembling the same, many exciting rumors are spreading. Apart from it, Jagapathi Babu sported a long beard in Salaar and NTR is doing the same in his next with Prashant Neel.

Lokesh Kanagaraj scored hits with Karthi's Khaidi, Vijay's Master, and Kamal Haasan's Vikram. Both Khaidi and Vikram had drug backdrop and Lokesh is connecting the dots in both the films. He ended Vikram with the introduction of Suriya as Rolex triggering rumors over Khaidi 2. Lokesh is also set to direct Vijay. Rumors have it that even that project will have a connection with these films.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukherji is a trilogy. Part 1 Shiva is releasing in September and it is not clear whether Part 2 and Part 3 will feature Shiva or will see new characters.
