Nayanthara-Vignesh Sivan's spiritual sojourn turns controversial

Kollywood's romantic couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan entered into wedlock in a grand manner on June 9th at a private resort in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. Many celebrities graced the wedding and wished the newlywed. Today, the couple visited the holy shrine of Tirupathi. Their snaps went viral on social media and while fans are celebrating it, their spiritual sojourn turned controversial.

Much to the shock of all, Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan are seen walking on the holy hills of Tirumala with footwear. It is known that walking with footwear is banned in the holy hills. Devotees are furious and many are angrily questioning how could the temple authorities and the management turn a blind eye to the blatant flouting of the rules by the celebrity couple.

It has to be seen how Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan react to this controversy. It is known that Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan earlier planned their wedding at Tirumala but later changed the venue to Mahabalipuram due to logistics.
