Movie lovers of late started staying away from theatres as the ticket rates have been hiked exorbitantly in the two Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Now, in the midst of all this, the makers of the upcoming films are trying to attract movie lovers by revealing that their films will be screened in theatres at reduced ticket rates.
In the midst of all this, the makers of Adivi Sesh's Major have taken a major decision. They decided to slash the ticket rates drastically to the pre covid days to enable movie lovers to watch the film in theatres. As such per ticket price on single screens in Telangana is 150, it will be 147 in Andhra Pradesh, wherein the multiplexes will charge 195 and 177 respectively. These are the lowest ticket prices for any film post-pandemic.
The film directed by Shashi Kiran Thikka is releasing on June 3,2022 and is a biopic on Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan to martyred during the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks. Major makers have been taking numerous initiatives like organising premiers across the country ten days ahead of the film release.
