Rajasekhar's Shekar in trouble

Angry Star Rajasekhar's Shekar hit the screens yesterday. The film which is a remake of the Malayalam film Joseph is directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar. The film got average reviews from the viewers. In the midst of all this, Shekar movie landed in trouble. A financier named A. Parandhama Reddy approached the court after producer, director Jeevitha failed to repay Rs 65 lakhs which she has taken as a loan.  

City Civil Court, Hyderabad after hearing his petition, directed Jeevitha to deposit Rs 65 lakhs as a security deposit in court in 48 hours before 4.30 PM, Sunday, failing which the film would be stopped from screening in all formats( theatres, digital, satellite, OTT, ATT) attaching al the rights.

A. Parandhama Reddy citing the court orders said that if the court orders are implemented then it. it will be a contempt of court if the film Shekar is screened by anyone in any format. It has to be seen how Jeevitha Rajasekhar will react to the latest development.
