Ofcourse, this one would be a foolish question to guage the talents of both these dynamic, action oriented directors who raised the image of our Telugu heroes from mere heroes to super heroes or even something more than that. One could easily identify the movies from Rajamouli and Vinayak just based on the action sequences and backdrops they use along with powerful characterizations of heroes and villains, which are altogether signature for both these directors.
Off late success of ‘Magadheera’ rewriting the BO records of Tollywood history is majorly credited to three people Rajamouli, Ramcharan and Allu Aravind. Now, the first two of the names are to be replaceded with VV Vinayak and Allu Arjun while the third remains the same. Yes, we are speaking about ‘Badrinath’ which has become the most discussed subject in film circles these days even before the full fledged start of its shoot.
Being made on a budget which is more than ‘Magadheera,’ Allu Arjun want this movie nothing less than breaking of ‘Magadheera’ records. Major share of burden and pressure will be taken by Allu Arjun along with VV Vinayak and the most important is can Vinayak match the standards of Rajamouli?
There may be diverse views upon this most subjective debate but given Vinayak’s unique style moulding the heroism and his previous success/failure track record prove that he needs to unite both earth and sky to break the jinx of ‘Magadheera.’ Who knows, with Allu Aravind in the team…anything is possible. Irrespective of the result…finally, winner will be only from Mega family.
