Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas' daughter gets a beautiful name

Bollywood bombshell Priyanka Chopra turned global star with her red hot explosions on and off the screen. She married  American singer-actor Nick Jonas in 2018. It is known that Priyanka Chopra became a proud mom through surrogacy by giving birth to a baby girl.

According to the latest, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas named their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Malti is of Sanskrit origin and means moonlight or small, fragrant flower. Marie means star of the sea and also references Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.

 Malti, which is the name of a flower, is part of Priyanka's mother's name - Madhumalti.  Baby Malti was born in San Diego on January 15, according to the birth certificate. While announcing the arrival of her baby on January 15, Priyanka shared "We are overjoyed to confirm we have welcomed a new baby girl via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."
