Kollywood star Suriya is known for his versatile performances and different genre films. His last two films Akasam Nee Haddura and Jai Bhim which were released in OTTs turned out to be blockbusters. Finally, his film ET is releasing in theatres and is releasing in Telugu as Evariki Thalavanchadu on March 10,2022
The film's promotions increased expectations of the film. Suriya speaking to scribes revealed ET's connection with the current generation. Promoting the film in Hyderabad, Suriya said all sections of people from across the country get connected to the film's storyline. He said the film is inspired by real-life incidents and director Pandiraj touched sensitive issues without hurting the feelings of anyone. He said he dubbed for his role in Telugu.
He said though his previous film Jai Bhim did not get the Oscar nomination everyone admired it. He added that he has Vaadivaasal with Vetrimaaran and he is doing a film with Bala. He said Tollywood revived the industry with hits like Akhanda, Pushpa, and Bheemla Nayak. He said his film will entertain movie lovers. He showered praises on Rajamouli and recollected how Vice President Venkaiah Naidu praised his brother Karthi's China Babu directed by Pandiraj. He recollected how the pandemic changed the lives of many and added ET will send a strong message to society apart from entertaining the masses.
