Covid pandemic is once again affecting the big films. Many films are getting postponed or most of them are heading towards OTTs skipping the theatrical release. Latest to join is Chiyaan Vikram's most awaited film Mahaan. The makers revealed that the film will skip the theatrical release and will be streamed directly on OTT from February 10 on Amazon Prime video.

The film will be releasing in Telugu,Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages on Amazon Prime. The film features Vikram sharing screen presence with his son Dhruv Vikram. The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and happens to be Vikram's milestone 60th film. Vikram is playing the role of Mahaan while his son Dhruv is playing the role of Dada in the film in which Vani Bhojan is the female lead.

Bobby Simha, Sananth, Simran, Deepak Paramesh are starring in the film for which music is scored by Santosh Narayanan. Shreyas Krishna and Vivek Harshan is the cinematographer and editor for the film produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.
