Both the flicks are from most creative brains of Indian film industry. If Ramgopal Varma’s ‘Raktha Charitra’ featuring Vivek Oberoi and Suriya is in trouble due to hero Vivek Oberoi’s attending the IIFA and making derogatory comments over South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce which passed strict warnings to all the actors working in South Indian films not to attend the IIFA held at Colombo. Upset by Vivek Oberoi, Film Chamber of Commerce members are demanding for a total ban on Raktha Charithra in all four southern states of Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
On the other hand, one of the Hindu Religious Organization based in Tamilnadu has filed a petition to Human Rights Commission on ‘Raavan’ for showcasing goddess Seeta Devi (Portrayed by Aishwarya Rai) in romantic scenes in the movie hurting the sentiments of Hindu people. This Hindu Organization is even known to be approaching High Court requesting them for a balanket ban on these kinds of stories. Let us see, how will this controversies end up.
