Small Screen heroine Dimple under attack

Well known TV artist Dimple who rose to fame with ‘Aata’ and ‘Toorpu Padamara’ serial has been attacked by a strange lady few hours ago with sharp objects and chilli powder. As per media reports, Dimple was travelling in car to her regular shooting spot of ‘Toorpu Padamara’ in Manikonda along with assistant Mani. All of the sudden, a lady attacked the car, threw chilli powder in the eyes of Dimple and Mani then beaten them with iron rod and used sharp instruments to cut Dimple near throat and upper part of the body.

Later this stranger escaped from the spot and Dimple was shifted to Apollo Hospitals. TV Media sources say that, artist cum director Sridhar Varma who was attacked by acid yesterday in Kukatpally is lover of Dimple and is director of ‘Toorpu Padamara’ serial. Sridhar Varma’s old girl friend is suspected to be associated with this attack and police are investigating the case. This is one more triangular love story in real life of small screen artists.
