Artists, Technicians Review
Director Shiva Nirvana tried to entertain movie lovers by showing Nani in an out-and-out family entertainer loaded with emotions in the rural backdrop. The story is extremely routine and right from the start till the finish it remained the same. The first half starts off with village and family rivalries and the narration goes on at a snail's pace. Songs also slowed the pace of the film turning out to be a stumbling block. However with the entry of Nani as an MRO, the story generates interest, and the interval block is good. The second half is more intense with a high level of emotions and action scenes. Shiva Nirvana at times generated interest with good dialogues and witty oneliners and flashes in screenplay and direction.
Nani performed well in his role. He brought in powerful emotions and made an impact on screen. He expressed himself well as a person who loves his father, family and works for the entire village. Ritu Varma got a good role to showcase her talent as an actress and she did well complimenting Nani with her performance. Nani and Ritu Varma's chemistry is natural and realistic and appeals to all. Aishwarya Rajesh excelled in her role showcasing sentiments well in emotional scenes. Daniel Balaji did well as a villain in a silent but in powerful manner. Jagapathi Babu is good in his role showing variations exhibiting different shades of his character with effortless ease. Nasser did well in his role and Rao Ramesh did not get much scope to perform.
Thaman's songs are good. Tunes are soothing and are well shot in an appealing manner. Gopisunder's background score is fine. He made a good impact by elevating the scenes with his BGM. Editing of Prawin Pudi could have been better. There are many drags that slowed the pace of the film. Prasad Murella beautified the film with his cinematography capturing the rural atmosphere in a natural manner. Production values are good.

Rating Analysis
Shiva Nirvana showcased Nani in an emotional role as a Tuck Jagadish and emerged successful in showcasing the family values in the rural background beautifully. Nani also enacts power-packed action scenes with ease to thrill the masses. However, those who expect out and out entertainment from Nani will be completely disappointed. The routine 80s story with illogical scenes did no justice to Nani's acting skills and Shiva Nirvana for all his efforts failed to exhibit his talented screenplay and direction. Considering the above points, CJ goes with a 2.75 rating for Tuck Jagadish.
