Gunasekhar wraps Shakuntalam

Star director Gunasekhar's Shakuntalam is the most talked-about project in Tollywood. The film is attracting the attention of all as it is based on Adi Parva in Mahabharat and is based on Abhignanga Shakuntalam penned by Kalidas.

According to the latest, the film's talkie part has been wrapped up. Gunasekhar completed shooting the final scenes on Dev Mohan who is playing the role of King Dushyant. He shot battle scenes and a couple of important scenes in Hyderabad and thus wrapped up the shooting.

The film's post-production will commence soon. The post-production features extensive usage of CFX and CGI. Samantha and Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha are playing the roles of Shakuntala and Prince Bharata in the film produced on Dil Raju's promotions banner and Gunaa TeamWorks. Plans are on to release the film in the first half of 2022.
