Saiee Manjrekar on Ghani and Major

Saiee Manjrekar is making her debut in Tollywood. Saiee Manjrekar, daughter of Bollywood star Mahesh Manjrekar is starring in Adivi Sesh's bilingual entertainer Major, based on Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the 26/11 Mumbai attack and also in Varun Tej's Ghani.

Speaking about Major, she says she is playing the role of Sandeep Unnikrishnan's love interest and added that she turned nostalgic when they shot the college scenes. Saiee, completed Plus two in 2019. She said during the shoot, she used to spend time looking at the school photos and videos. Speaking about Adivi Sesh she said he is jovial cracking jokes and this became easy for her to work with him.

About Varun Tej, Saiee said as she was a chatterbox, both bonded well-discussing food and fitness. She said Varun Tej also gave her tips on how to face the camera. She said she could perform well because Varun Tej made her comfortable.

On coping with Telugu, she said, her father Mahesh Manjrekar gave her tips and she used to write dialogues in Hindi and English and emoted them on screen. She said for Ghani, an assistant director traveled to Hyderabad with her and he explained to her the scenes and dialogues in Hindi.
