Mani gives Priya, the birthday gift

Priyamani was working on her birthday (June 4), but this is nothing new for the National Award winning actress. ‘People like to take time off to spend time with their families, but I couldn’t afford to do that this year either,’ said Priya who spent the day shooting for Ramgopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra.

‘Raavan,’ which is releasing later this month is the perfect birthday gift, she says. This film will be a stepping stone for her into Bollywood. Rakta Charitra is another film, she is excited about. With so much happening in her life, Priyamani has little time for a boyfriend.

‘Is there anyone left for me to be linked with. But, do you know? Iam not excited about the idea of a relationship. This constant messaging and talking, keeping in touch and over possessiveness is something I don’t want.I dont believe in being possessive, so I might as well stay single,’ she said.
