Politician asks hot actress to become his wife

Cinema can make strange bed fellows. Top of the list for 2010 is the imaginative pairing of well known politician, former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and hot actress Dimple Kapadia in the Malayalam musical ‘Bombay Mittayi’ by Umar Karrikkad.

Amar Singh might be looking at acting as an alternate career. When he was approached by the producers with the role, Amar Singh insisted that the actress who plays my wife should be of my choice. Them film makers agreed and then he called Dimple Kapadia, a close friend. Immediately she agreed to become my wife, said Amar Singh.
Amar Singh was so happy that he kept on telling Dimple during the shooting that it was like Bobby revisited after 30 years.

Very soon after the release of ‘Bombay Mittayi,’ there is another film called ‘Chargesheet’ from Amar Singh. Next to follow (he might be on hat trick), will be the character of Nationalist leader Chittaranjan Das which Amar Singh has agreed to play in a Bengali film based on Rabindranath Tagore.
