Super Cowboy from Lawrence

What’s on cards next from choreographer-actor-turned-director Lawrence Raghavendra? It’s a bilingual flick. Super Cowboy (Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam in Tamil) is being described as a fantasy cowboy film.

 In a landless world where can you find grass for the cow? Maybe Lawrence has the answer. Well-known actress Padmapriya plays the role of a gun-wielding village girl in the film (A Phoolan Devi?). Priya reveals the reason, ‘‘Nowhere in the world will you find a cowboy speaking Telugu or Tamil.’’

 Not that there are many cowboys in this country but Raghavendra knows why people flock to such films in India.
