NTR's relative, award winning filmmaker no more

Corona pandemic is snapping the lives of many leaving everyone in sorrow. According to the latest Sr NTR's relative, director, producer and writer Y. Visweswara Rao passed away today in C in a private hospital in Chennai. He is the close relative of NTR's family.

With this special binding he produced NTR's films Kanchukota, Niluvu Dopidi, Desoddarakulu, Pettamdarlu. He directed films like Teerpu, Maarpu, Nagna Satyam, Keerti Kanta Kanakam and Pellilla Chadarangam.  He started his career as a stage script and play writer. He was also a good lyricist. He penned the song 'aakalai annamadigite pichchollu annaru naayaallu". He won National awards for Nagna Satyam and Harischandrudu and two Nandis for Keerti Kanta Kanakam and Pellilla Chadarangam. He was the central jury members for the 17th National Awards and worked as a secretary for the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce. Condolences messages started pouring in from all quarters.
