Here’s Why Rashmika Refused Jersey

Rashmika Mandanna is ruling the roost with big ticket films in her kitty. The Chalo beauty has bagged two Bollywood projects- Mission Majnu and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Goodbye. She is making her Hindi debut with Mission Majnu paired alongside Sidharth Malhotra. But do you know that the beauty was approached for the Jersey Hindi remake starring Shahid Kapoor. She would have made her debut with Hindi Jersey, but the actress refused the offer.

Many theories revolved as to what made Rashmika turn down the offer. While it was stated that she has date clases and couldn't allocate time, the actress has now spilled the actual reason behind refusing Shahid’s Jersey. 

Rashmika gas stated that she would have not been able to pull off Sharaddha Srinath’s role. She further added that before singing any film, she thinks if she could give justice to her role, adding this she backed out citing that the film deserves someone better. The role later went to Super30 actress Mrunal Thakur, who raved about her co-star Shahid. 

Mrunal had said this about Shahid, "I won't stop praising Shahid because he is so fabulous as a performer. Every time he creates magic on screen and I just kind of wonder 'how do you do it?' I make sure to sit in front of the monitor when it's his shot so that I don't miss out on that X factor that he has.
