Bhaagamathie Actor In Khiladi

Remember Unni Mukundan? The Malayali actor who entertained Telugu audience with his arresting screen presence with Bhaagamathie and Janatha Garage is set to star in Ravi Tej’a Khiladi. He will be seen as Mass Maharaja’s colleague and plays a pivotal role which help in taking the narration forward in this action entertainer.

Director Ramesh Varma spills beans as to how he cast Unni Mukundan. He said that he caught the actor in film Bhaagamathie as he was binge watching the film. He suddenly felt his screen presence terrific and found him apt next to Ravi Teja who dubs the pair as ‘formidable ones’.

The filmmaker is all praise for Unni calling him a gifted actor who gets into the skin of his role easily and delivers with ease. Meanwhile, Khiladi team which was filming in Italy last month headed back to the country after surge in Covid cases and the subsequent lockdown imposed in Italy. 

The team will now shoot remaining portions in India. Starring Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi Anasuya Bharadwaj and Vennela Kishore, it has Ravi Teja in dual roles and the film will release on May 28, 2021.
