Katrina Kaif Contracts Covid

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif has tested Covid positive. She confirmed the news about her health issuing a statement which reads, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I'm following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care”.

The news of Katrina contracting Covid comes close on the heels of after her rumoured beau Vicky Kaushal got affected with Coronavirus on Monday. He had posted, "Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe."

Second wave gripping the enitre nation, Maharashtra has become the hotspot of Coronavirus cases. Many actors have fallen prey for the deadly virus, from Kartik Aaryan, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor. Katrina's film Sooryavanshi was supposed to hit screens this year, but due to rising cases in Mumabi the film has now been postponed.
