National Award Winner Is Pushpa’s Villain

Makers of stylish star Allu Arjun’s most awaited flick Pushpa have announced villain of the film. Malayalam powerhouse Fahadh Faasil who is a national award winner comes on board to play the antagonist in Pushpa. The team has confirmed the news with a video. However, his look is not revealed for now.

Fahadh Faasil is one of the most versatile actors in Indian cinema and he won several awards. He acted in few Tamil films, but Pushpa marks his Tollywood debut. Given Sukumar is known for presenting his villains in powerful way, Fahadh Faasil will be seen in a distinctive role in Pushpa.

Vijay Sethupathi was the original choice for Pushpa. But due to date issues, he walked out of the project. Then, the makers after considering few names ahd finalized Fahadh Faasil. Apparently, his first loo will be released later, as the release date is far away.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady opposite Allu Arjun in the film produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad scores music for the film releases on August 13th.
