RRR: Alia’s Role Extended?

Bollywood  actress Alia Bhatt was elated when she was offered a chance to work with SS Rajamouli. And her joy knew no bounds when she was offered Sita in magnum-opus RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR. But her role was a mere cameo where would shoot with Charan and was said to have danced laced visual extravaganza. But if latest reports are to go by, then her role has been extended.

A source informs, “She has much more role than what had been planned. She would join RRR later this month after wrapping up Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi”.It is worth mentioning that post lockdown if any actor who is on toes is Alia.

Speaking about why Rajamouli had zeroed in on Alia, he said, “Alia has the ability to stand on her own ground amidst actors like Charan and Tarak who are extremely talented.She can be innocent, vulnerable yet be extremely resilient. That is the reason I went for her. Looking forward to work with her. In large scale films it is very important that there is perfect balance between art and commerce. One cannot be sacrificed for the sake of the other. It is also very good their star status helps the pan India appeal.
