Kala Venkat Rao quits PRP

Kimidi Kala Venkat Rao,  politburo member of Praja Rajyam Party quit his party post as well as from the  party primary  membership  here on Monday. He sent  his resignation letter through fax to the PTP chief  Chiranjeevi.

According to sources Kala Venkat Rao is  all set to  join the Telugu  Desam  Party on May 26.  He  is  expected  to make an announcement in this regard very shortly.

The sullen mood in PRP and Chiranjeevi’s attitude towards Congress were forcing the leaders to leave PRP in search of greener pastures. On the other hand, the doors of TDP are opened to receive those, who want to rejoin the party. Several leaders from PRP and TRS have joined the TDP recently.   

Kimidi Kala Venkat  Rao  unsuccessfully contested from Etcherla Assembly segment on PRP ticket in 2009 elections.
