There are only a handful of instances in the past where the chief guest’s presence at a film’s pre-release event made more news than the film itself – say Chiranjeevi in the case of Sarileru Neekevvaru. And now, at Geetha Arts’ next release, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, Allu Arjun’s presence has created a similar effect. Though it’s quite normal for an actor to promote a film under their home banner, fans went crazy about him at the event.
Allu Arjun, who happened to watch the preview of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga earlier today, applauded the entire team for its commendable effort, particularly showering praise on the director Koushik, hero Karthikeya and veteran artiste Amani.
“I am astounded by the fact both the director and hero of the film are around 26-27 years old. They’ve shown so much maturity in their work and it genuinely proves how talented the younger generation is. It’s a story that’ll strike a chord with everyone. Amani garu will be remembered long after the movie for her performance. Lavanya Tripathi remains a lucky mascot for our banner after hits like Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy and Sreerastu Subhamastu,” he added.
Telling a word about Pushpa, Allu Arjun said, ‘Taggedi le’ which was greeted by a loud cheer from the audience. His speech faced frequent interruptions due to crowd’s enthusiasm to step onto the stage, owing to which his aggressive bodyguards had to constantly surround him to prevent any untoward incident.
