‘Prabhas Isn’t Aware Of The Craze’

Nag Ashwin is teaming up with Prabhas for the first time for a sci-fi thriller. The film has biggies with the likes Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to give a pan-India appeal. The Mahanati director has now opened up on his first encounter with Prabhas, how was the meet and he also opened up on donning the producer’s hat for first time by producing, Jathi Ratnalu.

Nag Ashwin’s First Encounter

The filmmaker has recalled about his first meet with Prabhas stating that he had jitters meeting him as he is a big star and how would he approach his film. But Prabhas made him comfortable even before he went on to hear the narration.

He goes on to reveal that Prabhas humbleness will blow one away, adding that he probably isn’t aware of the craze he enjoys. And he might not even go through social media posts about his fans discussions and the box-office numbers his films generate.

The filmmaker says that being a producer is a very tough job. It has to serve a purpose and when someone looks back at the film, a satisfaction should arise and Jathi Ratnalu comes into that category.
