Balayya Lions, Chiru Cheetahs, Nag Kings, Venky Warriors…that’s funny not alone in the names of MAA T20 Cricket matches even the game is going to be funny on June 13 at Lal Bahadur stadium.

If few of the sources within the industry are known to be dilly dallying with naming of teams, some say that naming is just for fun and no egos to be mingled with cricket. ‘I was surprised when people took objection to Chiru’s team being associated with the cheetah against Balayya’s lion. I wonder why egos creep into cricket,’ said one of the budding actor.

All top four heroes have their own following among public and Vishnuvardhan Induri who is producing the event puts every rumor related to heroes and their egos to rest, ‘There will be three matches between four teams. Of the 100 actors who want to play, 60 will be shortlisted. The actors will then be slotted into teams after the lucky draw. Actresses as in the movies will be relegated to the glamorous roles of commentary and dance performances. MAA is hoping for a crowd of at least 25,000 at LB Stadium,’ said the organizers.
