There was never such craze and fan mania about collections as what we see for ‘Simha’ today. Targeted at bull’s eye ‘Magadheera,’ Balakrishna’s ‘Simha’ is all rated as on war over Box Office records. With first week collections making trade pundits to raise their eye brows, it is projected to have collected nearly Rs. 26 crores, highest by any Indian standard and regional cinema standards and second week marked at Rs. 12 crores.
Media sources which are behind ‘Simha’ from the time of release are conveying it loud that these figures are misleading the audience and lost their credibility in market. ‘When movie is considered a hit, why to manipulate the statistics which leads to unhealthy competition?,’ asked one of the Nandamuri fans.
Better people knew about the real numbers behind. Theory applies not alone for ‘Simha’ but for all those releases which have capacity to shake the BO.
