Prestigious Award For South Stars

Dada Saheb Phalke is one the prestigious awards in the cinema field. Like every year, the event will take place which is scheduled on 20 February at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Some of the South celebrities have made it to the list of this prestigious award.

Rashmika Mandanna was awarded best actress award for her role in Dear Comrade, while YouTube sensation turned actor Naveen Polisetty was honoured the best actor award for Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya.

The best film of the year went to Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Jersey. While Sujeeth Reddy got the best director award for Saaho. Akkineni Nagarjuna was conferred for most versatile actor and SS Thaman was honoured with best composer award. It is worth mentioning that the inclusion of South version was added in 2019.
