Telugu Indie Film Makes Big

Gatham, an indie Telugu film has made it big by getting picked by International Film Festival of India (IFFI) under the Indian Panorama award. A suspense thriller that was completely shot in the USA. The film starred NRIs who are all professional techies and students.

Gatham is written and directed by Kiran Kondamadugula which features Bhargava Poludasu, Rakesh Galebhe and Poojitha Kuraparthi in the lead roles. The film festival will take place between January 16th to 21, 2021, which will see 26 feature films and 21 non feature films. Gatham got released on OTT platform- Amazon Prime on November 6. It opened to good positive response from the audience and critics. Well, the film’s selection at prestigious festival will act as a booster for many indie films in future.
