Unlock 5.0 guidelines permitted the State Governments to open cinema halls for public viewing from today that is October 15. Given the pandemic situation’s intensity going down day by day, it’s the responsibility of State Government’s to take necessary precautions keeping public health in view.
Among the Telugu states alone Andhra Pradesh Government gave liberty for respective theater owners and Multiplexes to open the shows with 50% occupancy. On the other side, Telangana Government did not permit for the same. On the other side, Bollywood is ready with few re-releases today to hit the screens.
One more report says, Andhra Pradesh Theater Owners are demanding a complete waiver of Electricity Bills, GST for the lock down period. Till the time, Government accept their demand, theaters are most likely to remain shut.
In Telangana too, incessant rains inundated entire Hyderabad and other districts with holidays declared by Government. So, November can be the possible time for Telugu states to have the colors back on screens.
For the moment, Bollywood is ready but not Tollywood.
