Director EVV Satyanarayana, is one man who always hold on to a social responsibility in many of his message oriented masala mixed flicks. But a peculiar element which is normally observed in many of his khichdi comedy flicks is relying on cross connections between male and female personalities in his movie.
After seeing these kinds of abnormal comedy tracks in movies like ‘Jamba Lakidi Pamba, Evadi Gola Vaadide’ and few more, it is now ‘Buridi’ where fun was woven around these most fictious relations which could generate easy spice.
For example, Jeevi and Sana lose their life partners (Jeevi loose his wife and Sana looses her husband) in the same car accident and these both come together to chill romance; Suman Shetty accidentally ties the knot of ‘Mangala Sutram’ to Hema who is the lady love of Pujari performing the marriage; Jaya Prakash Reddy loves his servant Telangana Shakuntala when this JP’s son JP (Double pose) loves servant’s daughter who is again Telangana Shakuntala (Double pose); Shiva Reddy, a car driver elopes with wife of his boss; young and awesome nurse Surekha Vani marries old and rich patient LB Sriram; Ali, an anchor of ‘Duradrushtam’ game show directly elopes with a sexy girl participant.
Although it looks funny to watch them on the screen but to generate these kinds of ideas EVV needs a constant eye to look for cross connections in society.
