King Nagarjuna's stardom and image as a family man took a beating following his latest film Manmadhudu 2. Nagarjuna along with Rahul Ravindran dreamed of repeating the magic of his blockbuster film Manmadhudu.
While in Manmadhudu he created a laughing riot as a woman hater, he dreamed of repeating the magic this time turning a womanizer in Manmadhudu 2. However the move backfired as movie lovers especially family audience couldn't digest Nagarjuna who is more than 60 enacting intimate scenes and lip-locks with girls young enough to be his daughters.
Nagarjuna is currently busy with Soggade Chinni Naayana sequel and also hosting Bigg Boss 3. In the meantime inside talk is Nagarjuna is eyeing a remake to deliver a knockout punch and regain his lost sheen.
Buzz is Nagarjuna will be starring in the remake of Bollywood film Raid which featured Ajay Devgn as an honest and fearless Income Tax officer who raids a powerful person in Lucknow. The film also starred Saurabh Shukla and Ileana in important roles.
Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas will be producing the remake and hunt is on for a star actor to reprise the role of Saurabh Shukla. Nagarjuna is said to have asked the makers to make few changes in the script adding adequate entertainment.
