Brahmins doubly insulted in Betting Bangarraju

These days, it has become a trend to insult Brahmins in the movies by creating their characters and throwing satires on their traditions and language accent. This time, Director Satti Babu might come under beating with his ‘Betting Bangarraju’ for creating few scenes which might insult the sentiments of hardcore Brahmins.

In one of the scenes, Allari Naresh’s friend Sharma character done by comedian Vijay cooks Chicken and Mutton dishes for friends with satires in regular Brahmin accent. Next is the scene where Sharma’s friend, a Brahmin girl Katyayani shares the information about their family assets and properties. Temples and the ‘Archakathvam’ (Brahmin Families Right to perform Pooja at temples) are shown as property of Brahmin families and these temples along with right of ‘Archakathvam’ are offered as dowry to bride grooms.

Let us hope that, nothing nuisance is created by Brahmins on these scenes and let them go unrecognized.
