ANR Biopic As A Web-Series!

Tollywood is witnessing flurry of biopics on silver screen. The success of legendary actress Savitri biopic Mahanati inspired many to come up with biopics on their favourite idols. However the shocking result of Natasimha Balakrishna's biopic on his dad, legendary personality NTR may make filmmakers have second thoughts about the biopics they are planning. NTR Kathanayakudu result proved lack of emotional drama will give disaster results.

The tragedy and emotions in Savitri's life turned Mahanati into a blockbuster. NTR biopic which missed them, taught a bitter lesson to the makers. Probably NTR biopic result may make other celebrities to shelve their plans to make biopics.

For quite some time many talked about biopic of legendary actor ANR. Nagarjuna too thought about it sometime back but he may shelve his plans. The biopic of NTR done by the actor of stature of Balakrishna got lukewarm response and if Nagarjuna comes up with a biopic on his dad ANR with Sumanth in lead, it may not get overwhelming response.

Apart from it, just like NTR, ANR's life too sailed smoothly. Though there was couple of pitfalls, it will not pierce the hearts of movie lovers. So a web-series is a better tribute for ANR and one wonders what will be the affect of NTR on Kantarao and Ghantasala biopics.
