Though super star Rajinikanth is a big star in all south states, his upcoming film Peta (Petta in Tamil) releasing for this Sankranthi is not getting even reasonable theaters in Andhra Pradesh. Producer Ashok Vallabhaneni who bought Peta Telugu theatrical rights blames Tollywood biggies Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and producers of UV Creations for blocking maximum of theaters in Telugu states for Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama and Venkatesh, Varun Tej’s F2- Fun And Frustration.
Since audio release of Peta, Ashok Vallabhaneni has been attacking Allu Aravind and Dil Raju using filthy language on them. Today, he attended a debate on a popular TV show. Like earlier, he once again went personal and even targeted family members of the top producers. He also remarked that, these producers will be slapped soon with slippers.
Irked with the foul language Ashok Vallabhaneni used despite continuous warnings, the anchor asked him to leave the show. The producer immediately walked out of the debate irritably. With this gesture, Ashok may not get any assistance from anyone in the industry.
In fact, during big seasons like Sankranthi, dubbed films will usually not get good number of theaters. Moreover, the producers announced the release date long ago and they blocked the theaters much earlier knowing there will be huge competition.
Observers opine that, Peta makers should have postponed their film to some other date.
