Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma who once questioned existence of god has changed his voice; apparently for publicity on his controversial film Lakshmi’s NTR. He visited Tirumala temple along with his producers and Lakshmi Parvathi and much surprise to everyone he came in traditional attire.
RGV made a statement that, his film will be perfect tribute to Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, though few biopics are made on NTR. “I came to Tirumala to seek blessings of Lord Balaji to give strength to make Lakshmi’s NTR. I admire NTR more than the god. I’m coming up with true story.
The sole reason for me to make this film is to highlight catastrophic incidents in NTR’s life after entry of Lakshmi Parvathi. I swear on NTR that, I will only be narrating true events in NTR’s life. Whether you believe it or not, but the fact is out of all the biopics on NTR, his blessings will only be on our film.”
RGV also announced to release Lakshmi’s NTR on January 24th, on the same date of Balakrishna starrer NTR Mahanayakudu’s theatrical outing. The maverick director with his statement indirectly warned Balakrishna and Chandrababu Naidu.
As is known, RGV approached Balakrishna for NTR biopic, but the former didn’t show interest to take the risk. Balakrishna is making NTR biopic in Krish’s direction as two part series- Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu. Let’s see whether Lakshmi’s NTR will give any fight to Mahanayakudu at box office.
