NTR-Trivikram Srinivas' action entertainer Aravinda Sametha is drawing sensational response at the box office. Even as movie lovers are enjoying the action scenes and NTR's powerful screen presence, rumors are spreading that one of the high voltage action scene is copied from a Hollywood film.
In Aravinda Sametha first half, Basi Reddy (Jagapathy Babu) finds out that Veera Raghava Reddy (NTR)'s hide out from a story written by a school kid for school magazine. The story was narrated by NTR to this school kid.
This scene is lifted from the similar one of Luc Besson's The family released in Hollywood in 2013. In 'The Family', Mafia leader Robert De Niro goes into hiding from USA to France and when he narrates his own story to his son for a school essay, the villain finds out hideout when the magazine's scrap gets exported to USA and a middle man tears the story as it reaches villai.
Trivikram's earlier films too faced plagiarism accusations. His last film Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi landed in problem when the maker of Largo Winch threatened legal action against him.
