Reliance pulls Rajini's daughter to court.

Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth who is newly engaged seems to be deep struck with problems, if the news from Kollywood is to be believed. As per the news, Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios has signed an agreement with Anil Ambani’s Reliance Media Works in January 2008 to jointly produce movies in South India and they have started their joint product with Rajinikanth’s ‘Sultan – The Warrior,’ an animated film.

As per their agreement, movie should be released way back in April 2009 and due to several problems movie didn’t meet the deadlines. Due to unpunctuality of Ocher Studios, immediately in June 2009 Reliance Media Works has terminated the agreement and demanded the amount of Rs. 11.5 crore which they have spent on the project. Till this date, Reliance was unable to recover the amount from Soundarya Rajinikanth and result is that a suit is filed in the court of law. A statement from either of the sides is awaited.
