TRS chief KCR dissolved the assembly and is getting ready to show his power in the early elections in Telangana. To bring the TRS juggernaut to a halt, Chandra Babu's TDP decided to erase its old rivalry with the Congress and decided to forge an alliance with it. Even professor Kodandaram forgot all the differences with the so called seemandhra parties and is readying to take on KCR in alliance with him.
In the meantime inside talk is TDP is trying its best to show its power and is planning to field Kalyan Ram, son of late Harikrishna, from Telangana. TDP feels if Kalyan Ram contests from Serlingampally where seemandhra voters and IT employees are in high numbers, he can easily win the elections.
T-TDP leaders too went on record that they are willing to forego their seat, if any from the NTR family contests the elections. TDP feels if it cannot get Serlingampally seat, then make Kalyan Ram contest from Kukatpally constituency. TDP sources feel that Serlingampally is a safe constituency, and if Kalyan Ram contests from Kukatpally, they can win both the seats.
