Actress Rashmika Mandanna and her Kirik Party co-star Rakshit Shetty called off their engagement which is a known fact. Earlier both had rubbished the reports of break up but looks like this time, but Rashmika's mother Suman Mandanna confirmed the news in an interview to a new channel.
Suman Mandanna shared that the couple was facing issues in compatibility and hence both the families mutually agreed to call off the engagement. She was quoted as saying by a local news channel, "We are disturbed and on the path to recovery. For every individual, his life comes first. Nobody likes to hurt each other and everybody should be happy."
Rashmika Mandanna got engaged to Rakshit Shetty last year. The couple wanted to take some time to complete the projects they had in hand, before tying the knot. Meanwhile, Rakshit Shetty requested his fans not to trouble Rashmika.
On the film front, Rashmika Mandanna is busy with Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade. Her other film DevDas co-starring Nagarjuna and Nani is done with its shoot and the film is slated for release on 27th September.
