AR Rahman offers glycerine to Chinmayi.

Chinmayi Sripada for the first time is coming before media and this will be mostly again a first time that a dubbing artist is hogging the limelight. Yes, she is first 50% of Samanta in ‘Ye Maya Chesave.’ In the recent times Chinmayi is one artist who has been gaining popularity as a dubbing artiste and she says she has Oscar winner A R Rahman to thank for it.

Fir the first time when Chinmayi has attended Rahman studio for a voice test and Rahman asked her to use glycerine in her eyes while dubbing for a sentimental scene with crying in low tone. Such is the perfection of Chinmayi and Rahman combo.

’I can’t forget the days when I dubbed for Trisha and Samantha. Gautham Menon sir would act out every word and movement of the lead character Jessie for me to dub. People have more loved my voice for Samanta. I’ve received mails from Fans who have seen the film at least six times just for the voice,’ said a smiling Chinmayi.

Chinmayi is a multi linguist who knows six languages to at most perfection Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English, French and German and is also a psychiatrist.
