Actress and filmmaker Manchu Lakshmi made sensational comments on Tollywood during promotions of her upcoming flick W/O Ram slated for release this week. She affirmed to quit Tollywood and shift her base to Chennai as to focus on Tamil films.

“Tollywood filmmakers are less concerned about Telugu artists, wherein Kollywood gives enough priority and respect for Telugu artists. So, I wish to shift my base to Chennai to test my luck in Kollywood,” stated Manchu Lakshmi.

Many may take Manchu Lakshmi’s comments lightly, but the fact is Telugu filmmakers always keen on casting North and other language artists. After waiting for offers in Tollywood, many Telugu girls heroines like Anjali, Swathi, Bindu Madhavi, Sri Divya etc. ventured into Kollywood and Mollywood.

Meanwhile, W/O Ram generating good buzz ever since its first look teaser was released. Apparently, Manchu Lakshmi is willing to give fitting reply to critics with W/O Ram which is about a murder mystery.
