After making a sensational debut with Pelli Choopulu, director Tharun Bhascker came up with a youthful entertainer Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi which was made with mostly new faces. Although they didn’t screen premieres one week or 10 days prior to its theatrical outing like they did for Pelli Choopulu, they screened the special show just a day before its actual release.

The film received mixed response and few predicted good promotions would have helped the film rake good numbers at box office. Except for two to three press meets, they didn’t show any interest to endorse the film vigorously and TV promotions are also far weak.

Analysts say that Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is definitely not a bad film, but negligence, uncaring approach of makers killed the film chances. Interestingly, the film’s promos are hardly seen in TVs. Seems like, they have concluded its waste of money spending on TV promos.

Like many directors, Tharun Bhascker too failed to break second film jinx as ENE is ending as a flop. God knows, how much Suresh Babu really earned from this as ENE is made on a shoestring budget. Time for Tharun to get onto his next instead of thinking on what went right and what went wrong for ENE... it's a part and parcel of game.
