Pantham Day 1 Collections

Macho Gopichand and gorgeous Mehreen starrer action entertainer with social message Pantham helmed by debutant Chakravarthy, bankrolled by KK Radhamohan is released yesterday in theatres. Surprisingly, the ill fate of Gopi with row of flops under his belt did not affect Pantham from opening strongly. 

According to trade reports, Pantham startedoff with a strong opening as the film collected a gross of Rs. 5.2 crs and a share of Rs. 3.22 crs on day 1 in worldwide. These are too good numbers for Gopi and he should be relieved of all the pressure.

Pantham had a strong plot weaved around political corruption in dispensing the health ex gratia and protagonist correcting the system is narrated in a commercial format. Actual Box Office fate of Pantham will be decided in coming couple of days. If the film holds well in weekend and coming weekdays atleast in B, C centres, Pantham can turn into a profitable venture.
