Pic Talk: Sumanth Perfect As ANR

Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna is gearing up to start his most ambitious project NTR, biopic on his late father, veteran actor and politician Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Krish will be joining hands with Balakrishna to helm the project which will start rolling shortly.

As we reported earlier, casting process is underway and Balakrishna, Krish together are making decision regarding casting of actors for important roles. While Vidya Balan is already confirmed to play Basavatarakam, NTR’s wife, Keerthy Suresh is considered for Savitri’s role.

In recent times, there have been numerous speculations about actor to play Akkineni Nageswara Rao. While some say, one from Naga Chaitanya or Nagarjuna should reprise ANR, others opine Sumanth who has striking similarities to his grandfather is perfect choice to play the role.

Meanwhile, a follower of Sumanth posted two pictures- one is of Sumanth from Yuvakudu, wherein the other picture is of ANR in his 20’s. Apparently, Sumanth is very much excited to see the two pictures together and the reason he says is, “This is the first time I see such similarity myself! Thankful.”
