Popular novelist Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani has died of a heart attack today in USA. As per reports, she had been treated at a hospital in USA for last few months.

Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani has had a strong fan following since the 1970s and early '80s, especially among women. Several of her stories were made into films and television serials.

Sulochana Rani was born in 1940 in Kaza village in Muvva Mandal, Krishna district. Meena, Jeevana Tarangalu, Secretary, Radha Krishna, Agni Poolu, Chandipriya, Prema Lekhalu, Bangaaru Kalalu, Vijetha, Jai Jawan, Aatma Gowravam, Prema Deepika, Girija Kalyanam, Atmeeyulu etc. are the novels which were made into films.
