They Asked Me To Marry Sridevi - Rajasekhar

Among all the film personalities who have been shocked by Sridevi’s sudden death, one is Dr. Rajasekhar. Only a few might have known that both these families share a distant relationship.

Speaking on the sad occasion, Dr. Rajasekhar has revealed some interesting moments between their families. The actor said that Sridevi’s mom likes him a lot and wanted him to marry her daughter. This was before he became an actor and his family rejected the proposal because Sridevi was into movies. They even refused to marry him off to Sridevi’s sister Sri latha.

However, Rajasekhar went on to join movies later and married his co-star Jeevitha after falling in love with her.

Co-incidentally, Sridevi’s father is a lawyer and Rajasekhar’s father is a police officer. Both worked at a same place and knew each other well and are very good friends.

Dr. Rajasekhar and his family are terribly shocked to hear the sudden demise of legendary actress and have conveyed their deepest condolences.
