NTR, The Tiger Missed Leopard!

Here is one more blast from the past. Star comedian Padmanabham on his Rekha and Murali Arts was shooting for his debut film Devatha in 1965. The film unit was heading to Satnur dam for a song shoot. Hero Ntr was travelling in a car and he was sleeping in the backseat during the night journey. 

Padmanabham was seated in the front seat while his brother was driving the car. In the dense forest, suddenly at a steep turning much to their shock they found a Leopard. 

Padmanabham and his brother were damn scared but they turned on the headlight without honking the horn. After few minutes, the leopard walked away silently into the thick forest and they moved on. 

The next day morning Padmanabham told about the incident to Ntr. Immediately Ntr said, Oh… You should have woken me. Even I too could have seen the Leopard.”

For this Padmanabham remarked, Annagaru... Car Mundara Elago Puli Undi… Car Venuka Seatloni Simhaanni Lepithe Inkemaina Undaa? 

Ntr roared with laughter like a Lion. Later, Padmanabham made Simham Navvindi on his banner in 1983.
