​Non Drunkard, No to Arjun Reddy?

Bollywood Star Ranveer Singh is renowned for his powerful and versatile performances on silver screen. Recently he cast a magic spell with his powerful and intense performance as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's controversial film Padmavaat. 

Ranveer's performance as Khilji won the appreciation and accolades from all quarters. In the meantime Ranveer Singh in his interactions with the scribes said that he is a method actor and he does any role after trying out how the characters believe in real life. He then revealed that he rejected a film and the character as he is not a drunkard.He said since I am a teetotaler I rejected an alcoholic character. 

Many felt that Ranveer was referring to the role of Vijay Devarakonda in Arjun Reddy. Yes, Sandeep Reddy planned to remake the film in Bollywood and he had Ranveer Singh in mind. However Ranverer refused to star in the remake citing the above reason. Many felt that Ranveer would have made powerful impact as Arjun Reddy. Now Arjun Kapoor is starring in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy.
