Atlee Thinks Like Rajamouli

Atlee, young director from Tamil Industry is known to Telugu audience through his dubbed movies like Raja Rani, Police and Adirindhi. Student of maverick director Shankar, Atlee is being showered with praises from all quarters for his recently released Mersal. Being made on the backdrop of poor people getting devoid of free medical facilities, film critics believe that he has joined the league of Shankar and AR Murugadoss in the process of film making.

One such person who could not stop praising Atlee is none other than Vijayendra Prasad. Atlee himself confessed in one of the media interaction that Vijayendra Prasad sees him like his son and told him that I think more like Rajamouli. Atlee is delighted by the appreciation he got from Jakanna’s father.

Coincidentally, Vijayendra Prasad has also penned the screenplay for Mersal. This movie went on to gross more than 220 crores at box office and is eyeing Kabali records now. Dubbed version Adirindhi is also running well at theatres and has emerged as the highest grosser for Vijay in Telugu.
